This full-block mixed-use development includes residential, office, and retail, and is located in the Manchester neighborhood of Richmond, Virginia. The residential and office tenants combine to create a small community within, with shared common spaces that include a ground-level courtyard and pool. These are accessed via a public plaza connecting 4th and Hull Streets that fronts the residential and office lobby, as well as the corner retail space.
The concept will provide true 24/7 living in one modern development, well suited for the emerging neighborhood. The ground level activates all sides of the block, adding a gym, ground floor retail, and street level accessible two-story lofts. The 215-unit residential building also includes studios and contemporary one- and two-bedroom units. Four levels of wood-frame construction over a concrete podium are designed to wrap the development’s above-grade public parking garage.
