At Hickok Cole we strive to be ahead of the curve. To do that, we have created our iLab program. This consists of “bottom up” research by staff through micro-grants that allow them to pursue passion projects that also have potential to benefit the firm, and “top down” research conducted with our marketing and business development departments based on what we see coming in the marketplace. Together, we meet in the middle to apply our knowledge and exploration to the design of our projects.
Research at Hickok Cole is initiated thorough a combination of exploration, intuition and our experience in the marketplace. Our marketing and business development departments gather trends from thought leaders, data from demographic and other studies, and precedents from other parts of the country and around the world. We then sift and apply the most relevant information to our local market to create new concepts for our office, housing, lifestyle, and mixed-use projects.
