Hickok Cole welcomes new Principal Laurent de Comarmond

Laurent de Comarmond joins Hickok Cole as Principal to lead next chapter in Raleigh.

As Hickok Cole continues to grow its presence in Raleigh, NC, and across the Southeast, we’re excited to welcome Laurent de Comarmond, AIA, LEED AP, as a Principal.

Laurent brings more than 30 years of experience across commercial development, higher education, multifamily housing, master planning, urban infill, and mixed-use projects. Based in Raleigh, he will lead the expansion of Hickok Cole’s work in the region while advancing the firm’s co-creative, multifaceted, and innovation-centered approach to design.

Laurent’s connection to Hickok Cole began early on in his career, when he worked in one of the firm’s first offices in Washington, DC. Since then, he has built a diverse portfolio of projects and relationships across multiple markets, helping shape communities through thoughtful design and development. His return brings a strong connection to Raleigh, a city whose growth and evolution he has helped influence throughout his career.
