This office-to-residential conversion transforms an underperforming office building into a 222-unit urban apartment community–adding much-needed housing to DC’s central business district. The project repurposes the existing garage structure and first two floors as a podium and adds nine new levels of metal stud-bearing wall construction above. Planned amenities include a new central courtyard which infuses additional light and air to the mid-block site and a new penthouse club room, gym, and covered outdoor entertainment areas.
