Located within walking distance of the White House, 1325 G Street revitalizes an aging building with a dynamic new entry and distinctive building amenities.

The scope includes the full redesign of the main lobby, replacement of storefront, canopy addition and interior public spaces improvements. The use of low iron glass on the lobby’s exterior curtain wall provides transparency between the interior and the exterior environments resulting in a vibrant street presence.

Angular forms and sculptural design moves create a dramatic sense of arrival and aid in channeling pedestrian circulation from the street and into the building. The visitors are greeted with a balanced contrast of both warm and industrial finishes that highlight the modern quality of the design.

Hospitality inspired furnishings throughout the lobby provide a sense of ease and luxury which encourage people to linger and relax. The amenity mix includes; a semi private work space, coffee bar, beverage credenza and two lounge spaces. A sculptural fire place and selective artwork orients and provides definition for the lobby experience.

Upper level common area upgrades include new finishes and lighting that reflect the building’s fresh “high-style” language. Signage and wayfinding are seamlessly married into the design creating a coherent building identity and brand experience.

The final product is decidedly distinctive, welcoming, and cohesive design.
