To capture the soul of the warehouse, salvaged elements of the original structure were incorporated—transforming file cabinets into art, an old “cash and carry” neon sign into a statement table, and wooden planks and metal mesh into structural details. Magnified cowhide wallpaper, wheat-patterned wool carpets, and a curated art collection add texture, story, and soul to amenities and corridors.
Units feature floor-to-ceiling windows to prioritize natural light and balcony access. Kitchen design leans away from the ubiquitous white and silver color palette towards trendsetting neutral grey and blue tones. Elevated features including wall-mounted range hoods, open shelving, and marble island tables appeal to epicureans and regular entertainers.
“We toured a Junior 1BR …Whoever staged the units was a genius at making each apartment look like home.”
“The apartment building is absolutely stunning. The apartment units are high-end with beautiful appliances.”
A naturally-lit, luxury fitness center features European imported exercise machines, a yoga room, and chilled eucalyptus towels featuring the residence’s monogram. A custom gold and black botanical mural by artist Vero Rivera adds texture and heart and reinforces the connection to and neighborhood’s marketplace roots.
Featuring panoramic views of Union Market and downtown DC, the rooftop features NanaWall connecting the entertainment kitchen and lounge space to an expansive rooftop deck for a seamless indoor-outdoor experience. Residents enjoy access to a heated salt-water pool, community bar, fresh herb planters, modern grilling equipment, and al fresco dining.
