Ryan Sloan

“My job starts where the design portion ends. From there, I’m entrusted to bring the projects to the finish line and ensure the reality reflects our design vision. In between is a whole lot of problem solving–that’s my sweet spot.”

Ryan first joined Hickok Cole as an intern back in 2004 and was hired full-time upon graduating college. His interest in construction began at an early age when he would help his father with woodworking projects. Now with nearly three years of building experience, Ryan brings a unique and practical perspective to the construction documentation and administration process, which often involves quality control and technical oversight. Ryan spends a lot of time in the field where he manages a team of CA experts and regularly hosts project tours to share lessons learned and expose staff to the more tangible phases of design. His entrepreneurial spirit and resourcefulness mean he is constantly looking for opportunities to apply our collective knowledge to current and future projects. To keep the family tradition, Ryan spends his own free time designing and building things with his kids.
