Yolanda Cole, FAIA named Architect of the Year

We are proud to announce that our Co-Founder and Senior Principal, Yolanda Cole, FAIA, was named the 2025 Architect of the Year by the DC Council of Engineering and Architectural Societies (DCCEAS). This prestigious recognition celebrates outstanding accomplishments in architecture across the Washington, D.C. metropolitan region and honors those who have demonstrated exceptional leadership and innovation in the field.

“I am honored to receive this recognition from DCCEAS,” said Cole, who accepted the award at a ceremony on Feb. 22, 2025. “Throughout my career, I’ve been fortunate to work with incredible colleagues and clients who share my passion for innovation and the creation of meaningful architecture. This award celebrates the collaborations that make innovation possible both within Hickok Cole and the profession at large.”
