Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies, Southern Illinois University Carbondale

Master of Architecture, University of Pennsylvania

Originally from Illinois, Tzu-Ching moved to DC after completing her Master’s. Having interned in the Netherlands during her master’s program, she fell in love with Northern European culture and landscape and moved there to pursue a career in architecture in 2019. In fact, she is a registered architect in the Netherlands and even opened her own practice. Now that she’s back stateside, Tzu-Ching is part of The Architects Registration Bureau and seeks to hone her expertise as a commercial interior and base-building architect and as a designer for our lifestyle and corporate interiors teams. She welcomes the challenges that come with renovation and restoration projects and is motivated by improving spaces for long-term use and future unknowns. A self-proclaimed coffee snob and Lego fanatic, she has many hobbies including practicing ashtanga yoga (except on Saturdays and moon days, of course) and can be spotted outside work riding around on her sweet vintage 1960s Dutch bike.
