Bachelor of Arts in Architecture and French, University of Pennsylvania
Matt is a born and bred Washingtonian and a recent graduate from the University of Pennsylvania, where he received his BA in Architecture and French. His passion for architecture began during a childhood family trip to Fallingwater, which subsequently inspired a series of bucket-list adventures to visit as many Frank Lloyd Wright sites as possible through the years. During school, Matt came to realize what he found most appealing about architecture is its duality; analytical and creative, equal parts humanities and sciences, abstract thinking and concrete pragmatism. He was also drawn to the construction aspect of architecture and, outside of school, always had a creative project in the works, whether it was sculpting glass, bookbinding, or developing crosswords for The New York Times.
