Laura grew up in Loudoun County back when it was still farmland and the neighbors were mostly cows. Since then, she’s bounced around various east coast cities (DC to Chicago then NYC) before making her triumphant return. Her path to design was not traditional. At UVA, she studied Russian and East European foreign affairs, working as a big law paralegal upon graduating before realizing she needed more creativity in her day-to-day. She went back to school for her MFA in Interior Design and the rest is history. Now based in our Richmond office, Laura touches a variety of project types from repositionings to tenant fit-outs and lobby design. Like all good millennials, Laura is a big foodie and enjoys a good happy hour. She loves anything that gets her blood pumping, including boxing and hiking with her husband and dog. She’s enjoying the change in pace that comes with small-city living and the sense of community it affords.
