Bachelor of Architecture, Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University
A Richmond native, Haley was captivated by design through her grandfather, an architect and professor at the University of Virginia and a watercolor artist. Her childhood consisted of many afternoons in his gallery admiring his ability to beautifully capture detail, composition, light, and color. Haley lived in Seattle for a couple years, but couldn’t stay away from Virginia for too long. She loves living in a beautiful place with such rich history and is proud to contribute to projects rooted in this context and for a firm that appreciates its fabric. Haley enjoys traveling and has been to at least four continents, visiting countries like Australia, Sweden, Canada, Costa Rica, and France. During her time at Virginia Tech, she spent a year studying abroad in Switzerland at the Accademia di Architettura di Mendrisio under recently named Pritzker Prize winner Francis Kéré.
