Bachelor of Architecture, Peruvian University of Applied Sciences

Fausto was born in New Brunswick, NJ while his parents were finishing their PhDs at Rutgers University. At age seven, they moved back to his parent’s hometown of Lima, Peru. It wasn’t until 2020 when a Maryland architecture firm hired Fausto that he returned to live in the US. Heavily influenced by his family’s background, Fausto started his career in electronic engineering but pivoted to architecture after realizing he craved a profession with more creativity. He’s intrigued by DC’s urban French-influenced design and finds excitement in the city’s unpredictability because it doesn’t follow the typical urban grid. When he’s not wandering the city or being adventurous, you’ll find Fausto playing soccer or dancing to Latin music with his two left feet (his words)!
