Fanny holds a Bachelor of Architecture from the Polytechnic University of Puerto Rico in San Juan, PR, and a Master of Interaction Design from the Domus Academy in Milan, Italy. She has experience in both, Interaction Design and Architecture. Before she decided to follow her career in Washington DC as an Architect, she worked as an Architectural Designer in PR, and then as an Interactive Designer at Icon Media Lab in Italy , and at Studio Roosegaarde in The Netherlands. She has been living in Washington DC for the past four years, and has experience in a range of facility types including multifamily residential, healthcare, office environments, and full scale building renovations. She has been involved in all phases of design process, developing solutions to technical and design problems. Her varied cultural experience has given her the opportunity to expand her knowledge on built environments, and better understand the interaction between people and space.
Fanny joined the Hickok Cole team in 2014 as a Staff Architect. She has been an active member of the Design Committee and Full Circle Committee since day one. Also, given her excellent graphic and design skills, and her commitment to her career, she has also been appointed to be the Graphic Advisor of AIA l DC Emerging Architect’s Committee, where she has the responsibility to design, direct and coordinate all the graphics for the committee and different events.
