Master of Architecture in Housing + Urbanism, Architectural Association

Bachelor of Architecture, Mississippi State University

Ariel’s interest in architecture grew once she identified it as a sweet spot between the freedom of art and design and the practical rigidity of science and technology. To her, buildings are just giant, well-designed puzzles that, when put together, best fit the needs of inhabitants and the surrounding community. She joins Hickok Cole’s housing group eager for the opportunity to learn and grow in an exciting and creative environment. Ariel is from Pensacola, Florida though she’s traveled quite a bit since her college years. While still in grad school, Ariel took the opportunity to solo backpack from Singapore to Japan, stopping in Malaysia, Thailand, Hong Kong, Taiwan and South Korea on the way. In fact, she even picked up some Korean. Ariel holds a Second Degree Black Belt in Tang Soo Do (Korean martial arts), which she practiced for 10 years!
