Art Night 2018

Every fall, Hickok Cole partners with Washington Project for the Arts (WPA) to host Art Night – an annual exhibit and fundraiser that transforms our Georgetown office into a four-floor art gallery. Now in its 18th year, Art Night has raised over $1,000,000 in support of WPA’s mission and the local arts community.

Art Night not only helps to further WPA’s mission, it also brings artists, collectors and the DC real estate community together in a unique celebration of art. Patrons show their support in two ways: attending Art Night and, more importantly, BUYING ART. Each sale benefits both WPA and the artists directly, with all proceeds shared equally between the two. This year’s collection features over 200 works at a variety of price points – bringing pieces that are compelling and affordable for experienced and aspiring collectors alike.

WPA is a not-for-profit visual arts organization that supports artist-driven projects, advocacy, and dialogue so that artists can live, work, and flourish.

The Curator

Judy is an independent curator and the Founder/Principal of Art. At Work., a full-service corporate art consultancy based in Washington, DC. Judy works with clients to tell their story/brand/mission via a distinctive art package specific to their needs, culture and budget. Art. At Work. is a connector of clients to artists, where each project is unique and inspiring.

This is Judy’s third time curating Art Night – a project that feeds her passion for introducing both new and established artists to each other, collectors, and the world of commercial real estate.

The Art Angels

Thank you to our 2018 Art Angels, who have generously precommitted $65,000 to Art Night. For the second year, their support is supplemented by a new group of up-and-coming collectors, dubbed Art Cherubs, who together have committed an additional $7,500.
